Step 6: Set LSD Acceleration Sensitivity Level
LSD Acceleration Sensitivity Level
“Adjust the effectiveness of the LSD when accelerating. Increasing this value
will make the LSD more effective, but can make the car unstable when the
accelerator is released.”
The purpose of this setting is to distribute torque between inside and
outside wheels when accelerating exiting a corner, in order to manage inside
and outside wheel spin. As a rule, if you get poor propulsion exiting corner,
raise the value, and if you have good propulsion but car tends to go straight
with strong understeer, you have to lower the value. You must find the limit,
with the highest value, maximum propulsion with effective cornering ability
exiting turns.
General rule: Keep it higher if the track requires fast acceleration, stop & go,
i.e. after hairpins; lower it in case you need to accelerate while still turning
exiting corners.
