Step 7: Set LSD Braking Sensitivity Level
LSD Braking Sensitivity Level
“Adjust the effectiveness of the LSD when decelerating or not accelerating.
Increasing this value will make the LSD more effective, but will increase the
risk of understeering.”
LSD also helps vehicle’s stability when braking and when neutral. When
downshifting resulting in engine-braking LSD can distribute torque to the
various wheels, managing balance. In case of oversteer entering a corner
and mid turn just raise the value, in case of understeer lower the value.
Higher values will help you brake harder, but may bring to sudden grip loss
when downshifting.
General rule: you can use higher level if you brake straight and then turn-in
neutral on both brakes and gas. Lower the value if you need to use
engine-brake while diving into a corner, it will help turning a lot.
